In 2000, Nelson Mandela shared a belief that became the foundation of Laureus Sport for Good: sport has the power to change the world. For 25 years, Laureus has turned that belief into action, using sport to help children and young people overcome disadvantage, unlock potential and create brighter futures.
Today, Laureus Sport for Good supports programmes across the world through grant-giving, programme design, impact measurement and advocacy — connecting world-class athletes with grassroots organisations to amplify reach and deepen impact. To date, this work has reached more than 7 million young people through 300 programmes in 40 countries.
That global heritage matters in Hong Kong. It means Laureus Sport for Good Hong Kong can combine local understanding with one of the broadest networks in the sector, drawing on international experience while building solutions that are shaped by what children and young people in Hong Kong need now.
